Message height. My radiator is a double core of the same height. Having a double-core radiator means there is twice the flow area through the core from one side to the other. A double-pass design has the same flow area as a single row, single pass radiator does.

My radiator and the OEM both have 41 cooling rows,
vertically, however, my radiator has two sets of these rows - twice the flow area as the OEM. So putting the coolant volume through only half of my radiator at a time is not giving up any flow area compared to OEM - my radiator is essentially twice the width because of the distance the coolant moves with the double pass design.
